Sunshine Benefits

We made sure to get outdoors and take in the benefits of the Sun. The warmth felt soothing to my spirit. Did you know that Vitamin D comes from the Sun? It is created in our bodies once the rays from the Sun are absorbed into our skin. We all produce Vitamin D at different time intervals, some of needing more time than others. Some of the highlighted benefits of Vitamin D to the body include:

  1. Calcium absorption

  2. Immune function

  3. Bone health

  4. Heart health

Wow! The above listed benefits sound like reason enough to get outdoors to enjoy what the sun has to offer!
